Experienced full-stack developer with a broad set of technical skills and proven record of building and leading product teams. Extensive knowledge of HTML5/CSS3,Typescript (JavaScript) and React. Experience with server-side development and api design.

I am available to be hired! I took a planned year off of working to unwind and focus on my hobbies. During that time I worked two short contract jobs with Proper Finance on some of their financial automation products. I worked in their front end using React and Typescript.

I am a Software Engineer Manager at Stripe overseeing the Terminal Device Payments team, which owns the Tap to Pay SDK (on iPhone and Android), the payment acceptance application on Stripe's internet-connected Android-based Terminal readers, and the payment logic in Terminal's Android SDK that interfaces with Stripe's USB/bluetooth-connected Terminal readers.

I have 8 years of experience as a software engineer. My most significant project has been launching Stripe Terminal's Tap to Pay on Android SDK in 23 countries. I've also worked at all levels of the Android operating system below the UI (linux kernel to HAL) and in firmware in a server and mobile phone context. I've contributed significantly to test, build and tooling infra in my last couple of roles. My primary coding languages are Kotlin, Python, C and C++, with some Java experience.

I have been a design engineer, systems engineer, engineering manager, project manager, marketing communicator and recently transitioned into product management. I've worked with large telecommunications operators (Telstra), network providers (Alcatel), wireless microchip developers (LSI Systems), a host of small startups, most extensively in medical devices (Cochlear), and now with web, search and social (Google).
